Safari Romper

I thought I'd make myself a safari romper. Having never made a pair of pants or shorts before I made a big mistake and cut the center seams of the shorts straight rather than at a diagonal. Ooops!

I will have to keep working on it to get it right. But I thought I'd share some of my favorite rompers I've found on the web.


I love this 60s romper, not only for its bubble shorts but for the matching spats that go with it!


Betsy Johnson always has it going on. I love the button up sides!


I love the cut of this romper and it just screams safari!

    I've been on a romper binge lately. So far I've made two. I have the fabric picked out, washed and ready for #3. I even have the fabric for #4 in my mind. I make them just to wear around the house though. I have to give the husband something to look at other than his t shirts ^_^
